The point being missed is the PRIVATE sector middle class has already been routed, and this is driving the debate by the public. I assume the start of momentum we have seen will result in significant change for public unions. But to what level is still debatable. I agree with Mish on his post, debate is a good thing, and status quo will not stand. Hopefully a complete decimation is not the result, but a sane middle ground is.

Chris Christie speaks against Teachers Unions
There is no way Mr. Christie will be re-elected, he is assaulting Public unions on all fronts, teachers, firefighters, police, and local townships. Unfortunately, with the economy of today, it is required. If you live in NJ, a must watch, for or against Mr. Christie. I am reluctantly for Mr. Christie, I say reluctantly because the economics require Mr. Christie's action. The ideal is the American dream of the middle class has been permanently injured since the late 90's.

Governor Chris Christies Budget Message

If you live in NJ, its good to watch.
If you have a government pension in any state, or have a Union salary in any state, it is good to watch.
NJ is leading the start of the likely tide we are to see across the country, and that is cut costs, and unions will be getting hit. Most of it is justified, but like any pendulum change in direction, it may go too far, but not yet. I'll see how far Mr.Christie goes, but so far, I say Chris Christie for President.
